Geoglyphs

Geoglyphs are large designs or patterns created on the ground by arranging or removing stones, soil, or other natural materials. They are best seen from the air and often depict animals, humans, or geometric shapes. Many ancient cultures, such as the Nazca civilization in Peru, made geoglyphs for religious, ceremonial, or astronomical purposes. These enormous artworks required significant effort and planning, reflecting cultural beliefs or communal activities.
