Strategies and Tactics
Strategies and tactics are two related but distinct concepts often used in planning and decision-making. A strategy is a long-term plan to achieve a specific goal, focusing on the bigger picture and overall direction. For instance, a company may have a strategy to expand into new markets. Tactics, on the other hand, are the specific actions or steps taken to execute that strategy. Continuing with the company example, tactics might include targeted marketing campaigns or partnerships with local businesses. In essence, strategies guide overall goals, while tactics focus on the individual actions needed to reach those goals.
