Soritical reasoning

Sorites reasoning, often referred to as the "paradox of the heap," is a form of reasoning that deals with vague predicates. It explores how small changes can lead to seemingly absurd conclusions. For example, if you have a heap of sand and remove one grain at a time, at what point does it stop being a heap? This type of reasoning highlights the difficulties in dealing with concepts that lack clear boundaries and can challenge our understanding of categories, such as defining what constitutes a "heap" or when something transitions from one status to another.
