Simulation Theory
Simulation theory posits that reality as we know it might be an artificial simulation, similar to a highly advanced video game or virtual environment. This idea suggests that if technology progresses enough, future civilizations could create lifelike simulations of their ancestors. Consequently, we could be living in one of these simulations rather than an original, "base" reality. Proponents argue that the likelihood of existing in a simulation is higher than being in a non-simulated reality, given the potential for multiple simulations. This theory raises questions about consciousness, existence, and the nature of reality itself.
