Shamar Rinpoche

Shamar Rinpoche, a prominent Tibetan Buddhist teacher, was the 14th Shamarpa in the lineage of Kagyü, one of the major schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in 1952, he was recognized as a reincarnation of a previous Shamar Rinpoche and was a key figure in promoting Buddhist teachings globally. He played a significant role in establishing monasteries and educational programs. Known for his profound wisdom and clarity, Shamar Rinpoche emphasized the importance of practical application of Buddhist principles in daily life.
