Senedd Cymru

Senedd Cymru, also known as the Welsh Parliament or Welsh Parliament, is the devolved legislature for Wales. It has the authority to make decisions on many areas such as health, education, and transportation within Wales. Established in 1999, it operates independently from the UK Parliament in Westminster, although some powers are reserved to the UK government. The Senedd's role is to represent Welsh citizens, pass laws, and oversee government policies specific to Wales, ensuring that local needs and priorities are addressed effectively. It is composed of elected Members of the Senedd (MSs), who work to serve and advocate for their constituents.
