Member of the Senedd
A Member of the Senedd, or MS, is an elected representative in Wales's national parliament, the Senedd (Welsh Parliament). They are responsible for making laws, debating important issues, and representing the interests of their constituents. Each MS serves a four-year term and can address a variety of topics, including health, education, and the environment. The Senedd has powers to create laws on specific matters, separate from the UK Parliament. MSs work to ensure that the voices of the people in their regions are heard in the decision-making processes that impact their lives.
