Senedd
The Senedd, also known as the Welsh Parliament, is the devolved legislative body for Wales. It was established in 1999 to make laws, scrutinize the Welsh Government, and represent the people of Wales on various issues, such as health, education, and the environment. The Senedd consists of 60 elected Members of the Senedd (MSs) who debate and decide on Welsh laws and policies. Located in Cardiff, it also serves as a venue for public engagement and discussions about the future of Wales. The Senedd reflects Wales' unique identity and governance separate from the UK Parliament.
