Llywydd

The Llywydd (pronounced "Luh-with") is the official title for the President or Speaker of the Senedd, the Welsh Parliament. Their primary role is to preside over debates, maintain order, and ensure that discussions are fair and productive. The Llywydd also represents the Senedd publicly and manages its procedures and administrative functions. While they do not participate in policy debates, they play a vital role in facilitating democratic processes and ensuring that legislative proceedings run smoothly and according to rules.
