Satygraha
Satyagraha is a philosophy and method of nonviolent resistance developed by Mahatma Gandhi. It is based on the principles of truth (satya) and firmness (agraha). Instead of using violence to fight against injustice or oppression, Satyagraha encourages individuals to confront wrongdoing through peaceful means, such as protests, civil disobedience, and dialogue. The aim is to appeal to the conscience of the oppressor and bring about social or political change by demonstrating moral strength and the power of collective action. This approach has influenced many civil rights movements around the world.
