Royal Albatross
The Royal Albatross is one of the largest seabirds, known for its impressive wingspan, which can exceed 10 feet (3 meters). Found primarily in the Southern Ocean, it is renowned for its ability to glide long distances over the ocean without flapping its wings. This bird primarily feeds on fish and squid, using its keen eyesight to spot prey. The Royal Albatross is also notable for its breeding habits; they mate for life and often return to the same nesting sites. Due to threats from fishing and habitat loss, some species of albatrosses, including the Royal Albatross, are considered endangered.
