Rocket propellants

Rocket propellants are substances used to propel rockets and spacecraft into space. They consist of fuel, which provides energy, and an oxidizer, which supplies oxygen for combustion. When these components burn together, they produce a high-speed stream of gas that is expelled out of the rocket's engine. This reaction generates thrust, enabling the rocket to lift off and maneuver in space. Propellants can be liquid (like liquid hydrogen and oxygen) or solid (such as a rubber-like material mixed with oxidizers) and are chosen based on mission requirements, efficiency, and safety considerations.
