Reciprocal Determinism

Reciprocal determinism is a concept from psychology that explains how a person's behavior, their personal thoughts and feelings, and their environment all influence each other. For example, someone’s confidence (thoughts) might affect how they act (behavior), which in turn can change the situation they’re in (environment), and new experiences can then impact their confidence again. It’s a continuous, dynamic interaction where each element shapes the others, emphasizing that individuals are active agents in their own development rather than just reactions to external forces.
