Ray Kroc (McDonald's)
Ray Kroc was an American businessman who played a pivotal role in the global expansion of McDonald's, turning it into one of the most recognizable fast-food chains in the world. Initially a milkshake machine salesman, Kroc discovered a small restaurant run by the McDonald brothers in California in the 1940s. Impressed by their efficient service and simple menu, he partnered with them to franchise the brand. Kroc's focus on standardized quality, speed, and consistency transformed McDonald's into a symbol of fast food and American culture. He is often credited with the idea of fast food as we know it today.
