Radio interferometry

Radio interferometry is a technique used in astronomy to improve the resolution of radio telescopes. Instead of using a single large telescope, multiple smaller telescopes are placed far apart. They work together to collect radio waves from celestial objects. By combining the data from these telescopes, scientists can create detailed images and gather more information than any one telescope could provide alone. This method takes advantage of the way waves interfere with each other, enhancing some signals while canceling others, allowing us to see farther and with greater clarity in the universe.
