Square Kilometre Array (SKA)

The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) is a large international radio telescope project designed to explore the universe. It will consist of thousands of small antennas spread across Australia and Africa, working together as one enormous telescope with a total collecting area of about one square kilometer. This massive size allows the SKA to detect faint signals from distant galaxies, stars, and cosmic phenomena, helping scientists understand the origins of the universe, black holes, and dark matter. It is one of the most ambitious efforts to advance our knowledge of the cosmos through cutting-edge technology.
