quantum immortality

Quantum immortality is a thought experiment based on quantum mechanics and the many-worlds interpretation. It suggests that a conscious observer may never truly experience death, as every time a potentially fatal event occurs, the universe branches into multiple realities. In one of these, the observer survives. Therefore, from the observer's perspective, they would always find themselves in a reality where they lived, even if they die in others. While intriguing, it remains a theoretical idea and is not scientifically proven, raising questions about consciousness and the nature of existence.
