Qajar Period

The Qajar Period (1789-1925) was a significant era in Iran's history, marked by the rule of the Qajar dynasty. It began after the fall of the Safavid dynasty and led to various political and social changes. The Qajars faced internal strife, foreign invasions, and modernization efforts. This period saw the rise of nationalism, the Constitutional Revolution, and the establishment of a parliamentary system. Despite these advancements, the Qajar government struggled with corruption and foreign influence. The dynasty ended when Reza Khan deposed the last Qajar king, leading to the establishment of the Pahlavi dynasty.
