Pyramidion

A pyramidion is the small, uppermost piece that sits on top of a pyramid, often shaped like a pyramid itself. In ancient Egyptian architecture, it was usually made of stone and sometimes covered in gold or electrum, reflecting sunlight. Pyramidions served both an aesthetic purpose, enhancing the visual appeal of the pyramid, and a symbolic one, representing spiritual ascent and connection to the divine.
