Predictive Validity

Predictive validity refers to how well a test or assessment can forecast future performance or behavior. In the context of general knowledge, if a test measures a person's knowledge accurately, predictive validity assesses whether that test can reliably predict how well that person will perform in real-world situations that require that knowledge. For example, if someone scores high on a general knowledge quiz, predictive validity looks at whether that score correlates with their success in tasks or jobs that depend on general knowledge in the future. Essentially, it's about the test's ability to predict outcomes accurately.
