Precision

Precision is a measure of accuracy in identifying positive cases. It indicates the proportion of true positive results out of all the instances labeled as positive by a test or model. In other words, when a system predicts something as positive, precision tells you how often that prediction is correct. High precision means that when the system says “positive,” it's usually right, minimizing false positives. It's particularly important when false positives are costly or undesirable.
