Pranab Mukherjee

Pranab Mukherjee was an influential Indian politician and statesman who served as the 13th President of India from 2012 to 2017. Before his presidency, he held various key roles in the Indian government, including Finance Minister and Minister of External Affairs, playing a significant role in shaping economic policies. Mukherjee was known for his deep understanding of economics and governance. He also contributed to India’s foreign relations and served the Indian National Congress party throughout his career. After his presidency, he continued to be respected as a senior elder statesman until his passing in 2020.
