Patau Syndrome

Patau Syndrome, also known as Trisomy 13, is a genetic condition caused by an extra copy of chromosome 13. This chromosomal abnormality can lead to severe intellectual disabilities and numerous physical abnormalities, including heart defects, cleft lip or palate, and problems with the brain and other organs.
