Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is an international organization founded in 1969, consisting of 57 member countries with a majority of Muslim populations. Its main goals are to promote unity and cooperation among member states, protect the interests of Muslims worldwide, and address issues affecting the Muslim community, such as political, cultural, and economic challenges. The OIC also works to promote peace, security, and development in its member countries, while addressing humanitarian and social issues. Its headquarters is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and it holds regular summits and meetings to coordinate efforts.
