Image for OLED technology

OLED technology

OLED, or Organic Light Emitting Diode, is a display technology that produces images by using organic compounds that emit light when an electric current passes through them. Unlike traditional LCD screens, which require a backlight, OLED screens are made up of individual pixels that generate their own light. This allows for deeper blacks, more vibrant colors, and a thinner design. Because each pixel can turn off completely, OLED displays provide excellent contrast ratios and wider viewing angles, making them popular for TVs, smartphones, and other devices where image quality is paramount.
