Northwest Territories

The Northwest Territories is a large, sparsely populated region in northern Canada, known for its vast wilderness, lakes, and Indigenous communities. It’s one of three territories in Canada and covers about 1.3 million square kilometers. Its landscape includes tundra, boreal forests, and Arctic coastlines. The territory operates under its own government responsible for local issues, while also being part of Canada's federation.
