Canada’s provinces and territories

Canada is divided into ten provinces and three territories, each with its own unique geography, culture, and government. Provinces, like Ontario and British Columbia, have more autonomy and power over local affairs. Territories, such as Yukon and Northwest Territories, are governed more directly by the federal government. The provinces are known for diverse climates and economies, ranging from the Atlantic fishing industry to the oil production of Alberta. The territories are largely rural and feature vast northern landscapes. Together, they contribute to Canada’s rich cultural tapestry and economic strength, reflecting the country's diversity and geographic vastness.
