Nordic languages
Nordic languages are a group of North Germanic languages spoken primarily in Scandinavia. This includes Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish, which are closely related and can be somewhat mutually intelligible. Finnish, while a significant language in the region, belongs to the Finno-Ugric family and is quite distinct. Icelandic has preserved many ancient features, making it unique among the group. These languages share a common historical root but have evolved separately, influenced by culture and environment. They are not only tools for communication but also key elements of the region’s rich heritage and identity.
