Nautilus Minerals was a company that aimed to extract valuable minerals from deep-sea hydrothermal vents on the ocean floor. They developed specialized technology to explore and mine these harsh, remote environments for metals like copper, gold, and zinc. Due to technical challenges, high costs, and environmental concerns, Nautilus faced financial difficulties and eventually ceased operations around 2019.
