Nature vs. Nurture Theory
The nature vs. nurture theory explores how much of our behavior, personality, and intelligence is shaped by genetics (nature) versus environmental factors (nurture). "Nature" refers to inherited traits and biological influences, while "nurture" encompasses experiences, upbringing, and education. This debate examines the extent to which our characteristics are pre-determined by our DNA or influenced by our surroundings and life experiences. Most experts agree that both nature and nurture play significant roles in shaping who we are, often interacting in complex ways throughout our lives.
