
National Revolutionary Army
The National Revolutionary Army was the official military force of the Republic of China from 1925 to 1947. It was established to unify China under central government control, resist warlord fragmentation, and modernize the military. The army played a key role in fighting warlords, Japanese invasion during World War II, and later participated in internal conflicts like the Chinese Civil War. It was influenced by both traditional Chinese martial arts and modern military tactics, and served as the primary national army during a turbulent period of Chinese history.
