National Liberation Movement
A National Liberation Movement is a collective effort by a group of people, usually within a colonized or oppressed region, to gain independence and self-determination from foreign rule or dominating powers. These movements often involve political, social, and sometimes armed struggles aimed at asserting national identity and rights. They can arise in response to colonialism, occupation, or other forms of domination, and typically seek to establish a sovereign state or achieve significant political autonomy. Examples include the anti-colonial movements in Africa and Asia during the 20th century.
