National Black Women’s Health Project

The National Black Women's Health Project (NBWHP) is an organization focused on improving the health and well-being of Black women in the United States. Established in 1983, it addresses health disparities and promotes awareness of health issues affecting this community, such as reproductive health, chronic diseases, and mental health. The project emphasizes education, advocacy, and empowerment, encouraging Black women to take charge of their health through informed choices and community support. By providing resources and fostering partnerships, the NBWHP aims to create a healthier future for Black women and their families.
