Nana Rao Peshwa

Nana Rao Peshwa was a prominent 18th-century Indian statesman and the chief minister of the Maratha Empire, a powerful regional power in India. Serving as Peshwa (prime minister) from 1772 to 1781, he effectively led the Maratha confederation, expanding their territory and strengthening their influence across India. Known for strategic military campaigns and administrative reforms, he played a key role during a period of significant political change. Nana Rao Peshwa's leadership helped shape the Maratha Empire’s dominance in India before his death in 1781, leaving a lasting impact on Indian history.
