Morton’s neuroma

Morton's neuroma is a condition where a nerve between the toes becomes thickened or irritated, usually caused by repeated pressure or squeezing. This leads to pain, a feeling of burning or numbness in the ball of the foot, often between the third and fourth toes. It can result from tight footwear, high heels, or activities that put stress on the front part of the foot. The discomfort may worsen while walking or wearing certain shoes. Treatment options include rest, footwear modifications, padding, or, in more severe cases, injections or surgery to relieve pressure on the nerve.
