Mir Osman Ali Pasha (Nizam VII)
Mir Osman Ali Pasha, also known as Nizam VII, was the last Nizam of Hyderabad, ruling from 1911 until India gained independence in 1948. He was known for his wealth, as he was one of the richest individuals in history, and for his contributions to infrastructure, education, and public health in Hyderabad. Under his rule, the state modernized with developments in irrigation, transportation, and industry. However, his reign also faced challenges, including political unrest and growing demands for integration into India. After independence, his reluctance to join the Indian Union led to significant political turmoil.
