Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Taiwan)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Taiwan is the government body responsible for managing Taiwan's international relations and diplomatic affairs. It formulates foreign policy, oversees Taiwan’s embassies and consulates, and promotes Taiwan's interests worldwide. Given Taiwan's unique political status, MOFA also works to establish and maintain relationships with countries that recognize its sovereignty and those with which it seeks unofficial ties. Additionally, the ministry engages in activities related to trade, cultural exchange, and humanitarian efforts, aiming to enhance Taiwan's global presence and security.
