mereological nihilism

Mereological nihilism is the philosophical view that denies the existence of composite objects, asserting that only basic, indivisible entities exist. According to this perspective, objects like tables, chairs, or even people do not truly exist as separate wholes but are instead just collections of their smaller parts (like atoms or molecules). If we take mereological nihilism seriously, we could say that when we look at a car, we're really just seeing a bunch of metal, rubber, and other materials, with no distinct "car" entity existing beyond those components.
