Membrane Biophysics

Membrane biophysics studies the physical properties and behaviors of biological membranes, which are thin layers that separate and protect cells. These membranes control what enters and exits a cell, playing a crucial role in communication and energy transfer. In molecular biophysics, it focuses on molecular interactions within membranes; in cellular biophysics, it examines how membranes affect cell function; and in systems biophysics, it looks at how these processes impact whole organisms.
