Lunar Module (Eagle)
The Lunar Module, known as Eagle, was a key spacecraft used during NASA's Apollo 11 mission in 1969 to land astronauts on the Moon. It was specifically designed for moon landings and had two parts: the descent stage, which allowed it to land, and the ascent stage, which lifted astronauts back to the orbiting command module. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin piloted Eagle to the lunar surface, where Armstrong became the first person to walk on the Moon. The successful mission marked a significant achievement in space exploration and human history.
