Lower Palaeolithic

The Lower Paleolithic is the earliest division of the Stone Age, beginning around 3.3 million years ago and lasting until about 300,000 years ago. It marks the period when early humans, such as Homo habilis and Homo erectus, developed the first stone tools. These tools were typically simple, used for cutting and chopping, reflecting early human adaptation to their environment. During this era, early humans began to form social groups, use fire, and migrate from Africa to other parts of the world, laying the groundwork for later human advancements in technology and culture.
