Linguistic Relativism

Linguistic relativism, also known as the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, suggests that our language influences the way we perceive and experience the world. The words and concepts we use in our language can shape our thoughts, beliefs, and behavior. For example, if your language has many words for different shades of blue, you might see and categorize these colors more accurately than in a language with fewer blue terms.
