Line-out strategies

In rugby, a line-out occurs when the ball goes out of play over the sideline. Teams use various strategies to win possession. Players may form a lifted group, known as a maul, to secure the ball. Strategies include calling specific numbers or signals to indicate which player will jump for the ball. They might also use deceptive plays to confuse opponents, such as pretending to go for one player while targeting another. Timing, coordination, and communication are crucial, as teams aim to outsmart the opposing players and gain an advantage in the game.
