Light Spectrum
The light spectrum refers to the range of electromagnetic radiation visible to the human eye, which we perceive as different colors. It includes red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, often remembered with the acronym ROYGBIV. Beyond visible light, the spectrum extends to infrared (invisible heat) and ultraviolet (invisible light beyond violet), as well as radio waves and X-rays. Each part of the spectrum has different wavelengths, impacting its properties and uses in technology, health, and nature, such as in photography, communication, and sunburn.
