Frequency
Frequency refers to how often a repeating event occurs within a specific period of time. In everyday terms, it measures how many times something happens in a given timeframe. For example, if a clock strikes the hour every 60 minutes, it has a frequency of once per hour. In science and engineering, frequency is often used to describe waves or signals, indicating how many cycles or vibrations occur each second, measured in Hertz (Hz). Essentially, higher frequency means more repetitions in less time, while lower frequency means fewer repetitions over the same period.
