Knowledge Gap Hypothesis
The Knowledge Gap Hypothesis suggests that as information becomes more available, better-educated individuals are likely to acquire new knowledge faster than those with less education. This creates a widening gap in general knowledge between different socioeconomic groups. Essentially, while advances in communication and education can provide everyone with access to information, not everyone has the same skills or opportunities to benefit from it. As a result, those with more resources and education may become more informed, leaving others further behind in their understanding of important topics.
