Khrushchevism
Khrushchevism refers to the political and economic policies associated with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev during the 1950s and early 1960s. Building on Marxist-Leninist principles, Khrushchev emphasized peaceful coexistence with the West, de-Stalinization, and reforms aimed at improving the Soviet economy and society. He sought to reduce the oppressive practices of the Stalin era, promote agricultural innovation, and foster cultural openness. While maintaining a commitment to communist ideology, Khrushchevism aimed to adapt it to contemporary realities, promoting a less rigid approach to governance and international relations within the framework of socialism.
