Kashmir Shaivism

Kashmir Shaivism is a rich philosophical and spiritual tradition originating in the Kashmir Valley, rooted in the Shaiva schools of Hinduism. It emphasizes the worship of Shiva as the ultimate reality and consciousness. Unlike some other traditions, it focuses on personal experience of the divine, advocating meditation and self-inquiry to realize one's true nature. The tradition teaches that the individual soul (Atman) and universal consciousness (Shiva) are interconnected.
