Justicia transicional

Justicia transicional, or transitional justice, refers to the set of measures used to address the rights violations that occur during periods of conflict or repression. It aims to promote accountability, serve justice, and achieve reconciliation in societies moving from conflict or authoritarian rule to peace and democracy. This can include criminal prosecutions, truth commissions, reparations for victims, and institutional reforms. Transitional justice seeks to acknowledge the suffering of victims, prevent future abuses, and restore trust in institutions, helping societies heal and rebuild after trauma.
