Joseph Haydn

Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) was an influential Austrian composer known as the "Father of the Symphony" and the "Father of the String Quartet." His music helped shape the structure and style of classical music during the late 18th century. Haydn's work features innovative themes and joyful melodies, often employing humor and surprise. He spent a significant part of his career in service to the Esterhazy family, where he composed many of his most famous works.
